Unadorned Rock Wallaby

Petrogale inornata


The more common and widespread Rock Wallaby in this region. Scattered
colonies in coastal ranges from south of Rockhampton to Home Hill, also
Whitsunday Island. Shelter by day in rock piles and caves. Also climb sloping
trees. Feed on green vegetation, especially forbs and low shrubs.
