Distributed from Cape York to the Whitsundays and in the top
end of the NT.

 A non-venomous snake
of rainforests and wetlands that feeds on frogs, lizards, mammals and other
snakes.  Has a pugnacious temperament and
will strike repeatedly if threatened.
