Robust Striped Skink

Ctenotus robustus


Maximum Snout Vent Length – 123mm

A widespread and common species throughout eastern Australia and into southern Australia

One of the larger species of Striped Skink. A very fast moving skink inhabiting a wide variety of habitats from coastal dunes to dry Eucalypt forests and suburban gardens. Genetic studies have placed the populations of species occurring in the Mackay/ Whitsunday/Isaac region in with the very similar Spalding’s  Striped Skink.
