Threatened Species
Formerly widespread in eastern Australia but now much reduced in distribution. Solitary, mostly nocturnal and partly arboreal. Eats small to medium sized vertebrates and large arthropods. A forest animal that makes a den in tree hollows, hollow logs and amongst rock crevices.
