Most abundant near coast where frequents lowland rainforest,
gallery forest, parks, gardens & mangroves. Feeds on fruits of rainforest
trees and palms. Birds in Qld migrate to New Guinea and Indonesia during dry
season.Nests singly or in colonies,
sometimes consisting oftens of
thousands (eg. On 8+ islands of the Great Barrier Reef)
