Mount Ossa Leaf-tailed Gecko

Snout Vent Length –  89mm

Endemic to Central Queensland Coast from north of Mackay to the Proserpine area and on Whitsunday Island.

Occurs as separated populations in rocky areas along creek-lines, usually within rainforest.  One of 4 species of Leaf-tailed Gecko found in separate restricted localities across this region.

Nocturnal, hiding during the day deep in rock crevices.
