Maximum Total Length – 700mm
Distributed in coastal habitats and ranges from eastern NSW
to se Qld with isolated populations in the wet tropics and at Eungella.
A mainly diurnal elapid that is also active on hot nights.
Feeds on lizards and frogs. Resides in Eungella at the higher altitudes preferring
damp, cool microhabitats.
