Only Australian honeyeater with entirely yellow-toned plumage. Common, noisy and conspicuous in canopy of riparian forest and tall eucalypt woodland, also Melaleuca swamps, mangroves, rainforest edges and town gardens. Resident and locally nomadic. Forages actively in canopy for arthropods, nectar and fruit.
