Friarbird, Helmeted
Philemon buceroides
Gregarious in small groups to large flocks. Noisy and
conspicuous. Mostly sedentary. Forages mostly in outer canopy of rainforest
edges, eucalypt forest and gardens. Friarbirds are distinctive, stout-billed
honeyeaters.
