Large, tropical, riparian flycatcher with striking sexual
dimorphism. Specialised to waterside habitats including paperbark swamps,
pandanus, mangroves and gallery rainforest. Active, noisy and conspicuous:
sallies and pounces for prey, mostly within a few metres from the ground or
water.
