Mostly a bird of open, inland habitats but wanders to
coastal regions following good seasons. Soars above agricultural machinery,
fires or livestock waiting for prey to be flushed. Pursues birds in low-level
flight, often taking mid-sized birds such as cockatoos and pigeons.
