Large canopy-dwelling cuckoo with long, rounded tail and
distinctive calls. Migratory, arriving in Australia from August onward and
departing to non-breeding areas in New Guinea and Indonesia around April.
Breeds in Australia, selecting hosts that build large open nests such as Magpie
Lark, Figbird and large Honeyeaters.
