Maximum Snout Vent Length –
60mm

Found throughout much of
inland Queensland and into western NSW & ne SA. Uncommon in this region.
Found in drier open habitats on western side of the ranges.

Shelters in vertical shafts of insect & spider holes, using its tough bulbous tail to plug the burrow if
needed.
