Eagle, White-bellied Sea Eagle
Haliaeetus leucogaster
An imposing eagle of the coast and large inland waterbodies. Patrols beaches and inshore habitats including coastal reaches of rivers. Cam soar to great heights. A generalist carnivore, mostly seen taking fish from the surface. Also scavenges on carion. Very sensitive to human disturbance when breeding.
