Occupies tropical and subtropical rainforest, especially
lowland areas, from central coastal NSW
to tip of Cape York. Singly or in pairs, occasionally larger groups at food

all heights. Can be surprisingly difficult to detect in canopy, listen for
sounds of falling fruit.
