Breeding visitor, mostly occurring Sep to March, with a few
stragglers remaining to Jun-Jul. Migrates to New Guinea and e Indonesia. Occurs
in the canopy of a variety of woodland and forest types, usually with fig
trees. The world’s largest brood-parasite, usually laying in nests of crows, ravens
and currawongs.
