Distributed from ne NSW to just
north of Townsville.

Widely distributed in this region
in moist habitats such as rainforest and wet sclerophyll forests. One of four
species of Crowned Snake potentially present in this region. All are small,
nocturnal, venomous font fanged snakes that feed on lizards and frogs. Found in
damp areas within forests and rock outcrops.
