Total Length – 400mm

Endemic to eastern Queensland, from Cairns region to near Brisbane. In this region can be found in drier forests on the west side of the Clark Range north to Collinsville and Bowen.

One of several small, secretive, nocturnal, front fanged venomous snakes found in this region. Generally living beneath leaf litter and or just beneath the surface of the ground and coming out at night to search for frogs and sleeping lizards.
