Budgerigar
Melopsittacus undulatus
Habitat – a bird of the inland including grassland and pastoral county, extending to sub-coastal areas in this region during good seasons. Nests in hollow limbs, stumps and wooden fence posts. A common aviary breed pet. Natural colour is green mixed with pale yellow.
