Total Length – 500mm

Endemic to Queensland  from Cape York along the coast and ranges south to the Rockhampton region. In this region appears to prefer sandy well drained soils in beach front scrubs and along creek-lines in rocky areas.

One of several small, secretive, nocturnal, front fanged venomous snakes found in this region. Generally living beneath leaf litter and or just beneath the surface of the ground and coming out at night to search for frogs and sleeping lizards.
