Maximum Snout Vent Length – 60mm
Introduced to Australia from se Asia and now commonly found in association with human dwellings across northern Australia. Common in the Mackay/Whitsunday/Isaac region.
Many people would be familiar with this gecko due to its habit of hunting moths and other insects at night around house lights inside and outside homes. Also noted for its loud contact call – a series of loud rapid clicks.
