Arcane Striped Skink

Ctenotus arcanus


Snout Vent Length – 87mm

This species is known from seQld and neNSW – with an isolated population at Carnarvon NP. Also found to occur in the Clarke Range in 2015, now its most northern occurrence.

In the Clarke Range it has been seen in open forest, amongst rocks near to creek-lines at the top of the range at an altitude of 700m.
