Medium to tall tree with a sparse but wide, spreading canopy and grey bark with numerous lenticels arranged in longitudinal lines.

Food source for: Fruit eaten by southern cassowary, figbird, satin bowerbird, Pacific baza and Lewin's honeyeater.
Toxicity: No toxicity known

Notes: Apparently a source of fibre. Brittle timber.
