Fruit description: Brown, dry, globular capsules, 1.5-2cm in diameter.
Habitat: Gallery (riverine or riparian) forest.
Distribution Queensland, Western Australia, New Guinea.

Origin: Australia, New Guinea.
Notes: A fast growing shrub with a colourful floral display. Tip pruning after flowering will help maintain a dense habit. Propagate from seed or cuttings.
