Flower description: Rich red, tubular flowers, about 3cm long. Borne in pairs along the stems, opposite the leaves. August to November.

Habitat: Gallery (riverine or riparian) forest, rainforest.

Notes: Slow growing, needs well drained soils and a semi-shaded position. Propagate from seed or cuttings.
