Fruit description: Spherical, fleshy berries, green turning to a grey blue when ripe. May to November.
Habitat: Rainforest.
Distribution Queensland, Northern Territory.
Food source for: Fruit eaten by the southern cassowary.
Toxicity: No toxicity known
Origin: Australia.
Notes: Grow from cuttings or fresh seed, germination may take six or seven months.
