Trifoliolate, opposite. Jasminum didymum subsp. lineare: linear to broadly linear, 2-10 x0.3-0.8cm, J. didymum subsp. didymum: ovate, broadly ovate or broadly elliptic, 3-10 x 2.5-6.5cm, J. didymum subsp. racemosum: mostly narrowly ovate to ovate, 1-4 x 0.5-2.5cm.

Flower description: Axillary (axillary or terminal in J. didymum subsp. didymum) with white jasmine-like flowers. Very fragrant. Flowering most months.

Fruit description: Black, globular, fleshy berries, about 1cm in diameter.
Habitat: Littoral rainforest, rainforest, woodland.
Distribution Queensland, New South Wales, Northern Territory, South Australia, Western Australia.
Food source for: Fruit eaten by the rose crowned fruit dove, pied imperial pigeon, spotted and western bowerbirds. Larval food plants of the Australian privet hawk moth Psilogramma menephron.
Toxicity: No toxicity known
