Whorls of three, glossy, elliptic to slightly oblanceolate, 5–14 x 2–5cm, attenuate to petiole, obtuse to rounded, rarely very slightly and shortly acuminate. Venation of numerous, parallel, secondary veins linking to a strong marginal vein. Petiole 0.5–2 cm long.

Flower description: Axillary, subterminal cyme with a few, dense, white flowers, floral tube 9–10mm long with narrowly oblong lobes, 6–7mm long. Peduncle 2–7cm long.

Fruit description: Red, pair of of ellipsoidal drupes, 3–4cm long, pointed at both ends, with a longitudinal ridge along both sides.
Habitat: Coastal dune, open forest, woodland.
